speak for thyself, oh congress

i am confused on how it is that the congress can continue to find the money for war in afghanistan and to support all the troops in the middle east but cannot find another dime for extended unemployment for the folks who pay the salaries of that very congress. i think congress needs a pay cut, should pay for his.her own health insurance and do that "save your own money for your pension" thingy which is highly recommended by angle and paul...

  1. It's a complete clusterf**k of priorities! Our military is so over funded its ridiculous. There is no legitimate military threat to us in the world. They project China may be in the future but that is at least 10-20 years away and they would have a lot of catching up to do.

  2. yes, and the ones denying umemployment benefits have likely never had to worry about their next meal or rent payment in their life! like one of our "friends" said on the recent fb comment: "enough is enough"----well, that goes for the war and congressmens'funding too!

  3. Has anyone ever wondered where the $$BILLIONS come from? Today, it just occurred to me. Drugs. All laundered drug money. How could billions of dollars be "lost" or unaccounted for?

  4. I have a hunch we don't pay enough in taxes or do we? Why doesn't the govt. really want to legalize some drugs, like marijuana, to deal with the prob on the southern borders?
